Look at this beautiful oak! This old king – right in the middle of the footpath, in a field between Horningsea and Clayhythe. I love it. Zelda and I always stop to marvel and smile at it – it makes my heart swell.
Trees – they fill us with wonder and spark our imaginations. They hold our history and culture, remind us to play, and inspire art, language, and creativity. They are the awe on our doorsteps.
I love that the Tree Charter is a people powered movement, and was proud to ask the City Council to commit to it, and proud to be working with Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination and the Cambridge Canopy Project.
Creativity. Nature. Collaboration, and Hope. x
