Over 1000 people walked through the Fantastical Forest at Wandlebury Country Park today to mark Tree Charter Day 2022.
The Forest now consists of 75 stunning muslin hangings. Now in its third year, this event is a joyous celebration of creativity, community and our natural world. Each hanging is carefully designed by one of nine CCI artists who have worked on this project, drawing on creative work made with 12 different communities across Cambridgeshire since 2019. Over 850 people of all ages have been involved, seventy percent of whom are children in primary schools. Enjoy highlights from the day in the short film above.
